Cranberry and Wensleydale Plaits

These are the first of this year's puff pastry cheese canapés. They are plaits filled with wensleydale cheese and cranberry sauce. 

The pastry is light and crisp and the filling has just the right balance of cheese and cranberry. The two flavours are festive and work well together. They are a little smaller than I intended to make and so were tricky to fold, hence some untidiness in the plaiting. And other than that, and the leakage of cheese, they worked well.
