Broccoli and Stilton Filo Tart




To me, christmas is synonymous with stilton in savoury terms. I have therefore made a filo pastry tart and topped it with ricotta, broccoli and crumbled stilton.

The pastry itself flaked well around the edges and was deliciously crisp in the centre. The flavours of the broccoli and stilton are a classic combination and so married perfectly, although a little more stilton could have been tolerated. The look of it is homemade and rustic making it more of a family christmas bake. It was a delicious dinner.
