Pork Goulash Caraway Seed Cobbler
This is a savoury cobbler pie. It is a pork shoulder goulash flavoured with tomato, cumin, paprika and caraway seeds, topped with a caraway seed scone.
The pork filling is absolutely delicious, with the meat being soft and tender thanks to the slow cooking and a great balance of spice. The scone is very well risen, light and moist with a lovely subtle caraway flavour that brings out the taste of the goulash sauce. This is a great alternative to a traditional pastry pie and an excellent use of a scone mix!
