Mincemeat Star Bread



This is a sweet dough bread filled with mincemeat and glazed with apricot jam.

Mincemeat is the one flavour that I first think of when I think of Christmas. I have therefore changed a traditional mince pie into a sweet dough ring. I think this tastes as good, if not better, than a mince pie, with all the rich christmas flavours coming through distinctly and working wonderfully with the perfectly baked dough.
