Marmalade Madeleines

This bake was a simple one. These are some French madeleines flavoured and glazed with orange marmalade.

The marmalade on top is slightly sharp yet adds a delicious contrast to the sweet sponge. The cakes are moist and light, although darkened a little more during baking than I would have liked. I think this may be down to the marmalade in them. But, despite this, they taste great and look very inviting.
