Grape and Goat's Cheese Filo Parcels
These are some canapes ready for New Year's Eve. They are homemade filo pastry filled with a grape and shallot chutney with a piece of goat's cheese.
The pastry is light, crisp and flaky, and the filling is a contrast of a wonderfully sweet and well-flavoured chutney with the strong flavour of goat's cheese. They didn't seal perfectly and a little of the cheese bubbled out, but this just adds to them looking appetising and inviting. I reckon these would be great on any New Year buffet.
