Maple and Rosemary Churros



Christmas is synonymous with unhealthy foods, and I'm not sure it gets much less nutritious than fried churros coated in a rosemary sugar and served with a maple syrup caramel dipping sauce.

The churros are light and crisp, golden brown and have a delicious fried flavour. The sugar coating adds a great sweetness but also an earthy flavour from the rosemary. The amount of rosemary is probably a little high for most palettes, however to mine it is delicious. The maple sauce is sweet, sticky and indulgent and makes a great dip.
