Christmas Cheeseboard Scones



These scones are the perfect way to use up any leftover cheese from Christmas day. They are made with buttermilk and filled with stilton, brie and cheddar. They are topped with more cheddar cheese.

The texture of these scones is absolutely right. They are light and soft. The flavour is delicious, although could have done with an extra mature cheddar and slightly stronger brie for the flavour to cut through better. I could also have personally tolerated more stilton, but it is possibly a bit of an acquired taste. I thin they taste great, and are a versatile bake that could include any cheese you have left on your cheeseboard.
