Cherry and Brazil Nut Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce



There is only one dessert to have on Christmas day, and that is a Christmas pudding. This is my version, which is filled with brazil nuts and dried cherries which were soaked in brandy, and is served with a brandy sauce.

The Christmas pudding is rich and dense yet has a lovely light flavour. It is full of fruit and an absolutely delicious alternative to the traditional filling. The sauce is boozy and creamy, and is great with the pudding. The only improvement I would make would be a glug of brandy over the top and setting it on fire to create the spectacle that Christmas day deserves.
