Chilli and Ginger Chocolate Pots

This is a dessert perfect as a Halloween trick or treat. It looks like a rich chocolate pot but in fact has a subtle kick of spice from chopped stem ginger and chilli flakes.

The texture of the dessert is smooth and creamy, although it didn't quite set as intended. This may be linked to my impatience, but nonetheless it makes for a great eat. The chocolate is dark and strong yet any bitterness is taken away by the cream. The chilli and ginger are gentle back notes and bring out the chocolate flavour wonderfully.
