Vanilla and Popping Candy Traycake

There is always a need for two birthday cakes. This one is to share with my cub group so is a little more simple. It is a vanilla sponge cake topped with vanilla buttercream and popping candy pieces.

This is a light and soft textured cake with a delicious vanilla flavour. It is bright and colourful, and the popping candy is a fun addition that makes it that little bit more special.
