Brown Sugar and Brazil Nut Rugelach
These are my Jewish rugelach. They use the traditional cream cheese pastry and are flavoured with dark brown sugar and brazil nuts.
The pastry is crisp and flaky, yet slightly moist and soft in the middle, due to the cream cheese. It has a unique texture and flavour that is delicious. The brazil nuts can be tasted strongly, and go well with the brown sugar. No spices or other flavours necessary.
