Cranberry, Cinnamon and Walnut Welsh Cakes

Today's bake was a simple one combining tried and tested flavours. They are some welsh cakes with a light cinnamon spice, chopped walnuts and dried cranberries, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.

The cakes themselves are wonderfully browned and soft in the centre. The tastes are delicious, with the cinnamon sugar being the best addition to lift them to warmly spiced. It is hard to beat these as a simple bake.
