Leek and Gruyere Bread and Butter Pudding

This is a savoury version of a British favourite dessert. It is a bread and butter pudding layered with leek and gruyere cheese.

The leek and gruyere flavour are a match made in heaven, with the sweet, earthy and nutty cheese being strong and delicious. It is wonderfully soft in texture and perfectly set underneath, with a crisp cheese topping. This was a fantastic dinner!
