Neopolitan Marble Cake

This is a cake version of a popular ice cream flavour, Neopolitan. It consists of three sponge batters marbled with each other. They are a vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, all topped with a chocolate buttercream and white chocolate shavings.

The sponge is light and soft with a delicious texture. The three flavours are delicious with each other and give it a fantastic colourful look. The chocolate buttercream unusually posed difficulties as I neglected sifting the cocoa powder, but other than that it is fantastic!
