Chocolate Hazelnut Tart



This is a hazelnut pastry tart case filled with a frangelico dark chocolate ganache and topped with chopped toasted hazelnuts.

The pastry was crisp and well baked, so it was just browned. It had a delicious earthy flavour from the hazelnuts which worked wonderfully with the dark chocolate and subtle hazelnut liqueur. The nut topping gave an added crunch and enhanced the taste further. It was rich and indulgent.
