Sticky Toffee Churros

These are some sugar coated churros served with a warm toffee sauce.

The dough itself was fried to crisp and golden brown and the sugar coating adds a further crunch. The toffee sauce is sweet but light and perfectly matches the otherwise fairly plain churros. They are a deliciously unhealthy snack great for anyone not on a new year's healthy eating drive!
