Frangelico Hazelnut Biscuits





I have been calling these 'Frangelico Amaretti'. They are my hazelnut version of an amaretti biscuit made with ground hazelnuts and frangelico liqueur instead of the usual almond and amaretto.

The hazelnut flavour is strong and the biscuit light and crisp. They have a wonderfully crunchy texture and the liqueur adds the perfect flavour. A very good use of a fantastic christmas present.
