Fennel Seed Bagels
I have been putting my improving bread making skills to the test and have tried to make bagels once again. These are a plain version topped with ground fennel seeds.
They are definitely a success, especially compared to last time. They proved far better to produce a more puffed result. They aren't quite perfect still as I would perhaps make the hole a little smaller so they have even more height, but other than that the chewiness of the exterior and the crumb are perfect and they are fantastic. I am very happy I have persevered and tried again!
