Chocolate Orange Torte

I have been baking for my very grateful work colleagues. I made a chocolate and orange torte topped with chocolate ganache. 

This is definitely not a cake for one on a diet. It is intensely chocolatey without being too rich, being further lightened by the delicate orange flavour. The cake is moist, although could have perhaps taken  a couple fewer minutes baking to make it slightly gooey in texture. However, the addition of ground almonds to the batter ensured the texture was great nonetheless, The ganache on top is soft and smooth with a wonderful shine. I think as chocolate bakes go this was fantastic!
