Pumpkin Pie Cakes






In the spirit of halloween I have been using my pumpkin to make some pumpkin, walnut and pecan cakes flavoured with pumpkin pie spices topped with a quenelle of cinnamon and nutmeg cream and a pumpkin seed caramel shard.

The cakes were light and well spiced with a delicious autumn warming feel. The cream was subtle and added an extra boost to them. The caramel shard was sweet and gave them some decorative interest. I am pretty happy with these!
