Beef Chilli and Cheese Cobbler
I made a beef chilli from braising steak I have in the freezer and topped it with some cheddar cheese scones to produce a traditional cobbler.
The chilli is delicious with a good spice level and tomatoey sauce. The beef is cooked so it is tender and falls apart. The cobbler topping is baked to well risen and browned. There is just the right amount of cheese to produce a good strong flavour that compliments the chilli. This is a great dinner.
