Steak and Ale Pie

This is a traditional flaky pastry lid pie filled with braising steak in a beefy ale sauce.

The gravy was very rich and full of a great depth of flavour. The meat was cooked down perfectly to be tender. The pastry flaked on top and made it a light addition to a hearty pie. It was perfect and delicious.
