Lemoncello-misu Cake





This is my take on a tiramisu cake. It is a plain sponge soaked in lemon juice and lemoncello syrup. The mascarpone and cream mixture is flavoured with homemade lemon curd, and the top is decorated with crystallised lemon peel.

The sponge is soft and the filling creamy. The flavour is strong and lemony but sweet not sharp. I would say this is one of the best things I have baked!
