White Chocolate and Basil Choux Puffs



These are some basil flavoured choux pastry buns drizzled with a warm white chocolate sauce.

The pastry is light and crisp however did feature some cracks, possibly due to not evaporating enough water from the dough or not enough salt. They have a delicious subtle basil flavour which brings out the white chocolate well. The sauce is sweet and slightly rich so is a perfect match for the otherwise bland choux.
