Raspberry and Rose Water Friands
A springtime bake to enjoy for afternoon tea. These are some friands made with ground almonds and flavoured with rose water, topped with fresh raspberries.
The cakes are slightly crisp on the outside when freshly baked but wonderfully moist and soft in the middle. They have a lovely rose flavour, that is not too strong and goes well with the fresh raspberries. They look delicate, elegant and taste delicious.
