Apple and Suet Dumplings
Cooking at camp for 82 requires a proper pudding. This is suet dumplings baked on apple mixed with light brown sugar, to be served with warm caramel sauce and custard.
The apple is soft and sweet with a lovely caramelised flavour from the brown sugar. The dumplings are soft and warming, and deliciously naughty. Let's just hope they go down well.
