Tiger Bread Rolls



These are some white bread rolls with a cracked glaze on top.

The flavour of the rolls is just right, and I am astonished the cracked topping worked. The bread itself, however, is very underproved. It seems that 4 hours of rising time, and then a further hour and a half of proving is not long enough! More patience is clearly required. I also struggled to get them to brown in my very particular oven, but after some quick thinking, a little brush of oil and the top shelf of the oven, I got them to at least get a hint of colour! Not perfect, but there were some successes in this bake.
