Strawberry Milkshake Cupcakes

These are cakes I have owed a work colleague for a good few months. They are cupcakes flavoured with strawberry milkshake powder topped with strawberry milkshake flavoured buttercream and freeze dried raspberry pieces.

The cake was light and moist due to the high proportion of milk compared to margarine. The buttercream was smooth and had a strawberry flavour just like a milkshake. They look pretty and pink, assisted by the sprinkling on top (the freeze dried raspberry would have been strawberry if I hadn't opened the cupboard to find it looking an odd colour!). I am just now waiting for the verdict on their success!
