Moussaka Pie




I made myself a dinner of a cinnamon, cumin and nutmeg spiced hot water crust pastry case filled with a layer of potato, topped with layers of sliced aubergine, lamb moussaka mince and topped with sprinkled feta cheese.

The flavours of the pie were incredible. The small addition of the subtle spice in the pastry elevated it to a new level of deliciousness. The ratio of aubergine to meat to pastry was spot on bearing in mind it was a small pie. The whole thing was fantastic, it baked well and tasted great!
