Gingerbread Biscuit Box

It doesn't feel like christmas until gingerbread is being made. I have turned mine into a biscuit box. It is made out of ginger and mixed spice flavoured biscuits decorated with royal icing. The box is filled with chocolate and saffron biscuits.

I am very pleased with the day's baking. The gingerbread box both looks and tastes great and it all went together well. I surpassed my expectations rather a lot as I was anticipating disaster. But all is well and happy!
