Brie and Fig Knot






I have been baking sweet dough with a twist. This is a sweetened knotted loaf filled with a slightly savoury filling of a balsamic and black pepper fig jam and chunks of brie.

The dough itself is a wonderful tcxture, perfectly baked and soft with an even crumb. The slight sweetness of it is just right with the filling. I am really happy with how it created the pattern inside and how the flavours match together. It is better than I anticipated.
