Stilton, Walnut and Pecan Sables



I have baked some sable biscuits flavoured with stilton and cheddar cheeses and sprinkled with a mixture of pecans and walnuts. 

Last time I attempted stilton biscuits they ended up in such a disaster they didn't make it anywhere near my blog. But it made me determined to bake some stilton biscuits for my Grandad. So attempt 2, and I think I had success. The flavour is cheesey and indulgent, with an earthy hint from the nuts on top, which also give a lovely crunch. They aren't perfect in shape and size but look very appetising. I hope they go down well!
