Soda Farls

I have been using my leftover buttermilk to make some Irish soda farls. They are served here with rhubarb jam.

The bread is soft and light, with a slightly sweet flavour from the buttermilk. They are delicious sweet or savoury. I had never eaten soda farls before but I now realise why the Irish like them so much!
