Malted Milk Sandwiches



As classic biscuits go, it doesn't get much better than a malted milk to dip in a cup of tea. So I have made my version, and sandwiched them with a malted milk buttercream.

The biscuits are crisp and crunchy with a delicate creamy and subtle malty flavour. The buttercream tastes similar and enhances the flavours of the biscuit, whilst adding a contrasting texture. I think they look simple but cute and would make a great addition to a biscuit platter at tea time.
