Eggnog Mug Cake

This is my first ever attempt at a microwave mug cake, normally opting for the oven for my baking. I thought there wasn't much better cake to make in a mug than one that tastes like eggnog, being flavoured with vanilla and rum, then dusted with icing sugar.

It is a good job my mug was fairly big as the batter rose phenomenally and even spilled a little down the edges. I am amazed at how quick and simple this was, although I did come across a slight issue with the rim near the bottom of my mug hiding a little bit of flour! But other than that it tastes fantastic and was a successful experiment!
