Lemon and Poppyseed Drizzle Cakes

These are the second cakes I made for work. They are some lemon and poppyseed cakes with a lemon drizzle.

The sugary topping was lemony and crunchy contrasting the soft sponge well. The flavour was strong and delicious. They were great. The improvement would have been a little bit of lemon zest on top, but in the time I had to make all 56 cakes for work I don't think I did too bad!
