Coffee and Walnut Marble Cake

This is a ring marble cake of a coffee and walnut sponge mixed with a vanilla sponge. It is decorated with coffee icing and walnuts.

The cake is a madeira cake and so slightly dense in texture. This was perfect with the walnuts and icing decoration. The flavour developed overnight to become stronger and more intense. I am very pleased with the cake, and the marbling isn't too bad either!
