Carrot and Orange Cakes





I have been baking for my work colleagues. They are some miniature carrot cakes flavoured with cinnamon and nutmeg and filled with pecans and raisins. They are topped with orange buttercream, chopped pecans, an orange marzipan carrot and rosemary.

The cake was very light and well spiced. The buttercream was sweet and soft with a strong and well complimented orange flavour. They look great and taste lovely too!
