Chicken and Asparagus Pie

This is my version of my childhood favourite. It is a double crust shortcrust pastry pie filled with chicken and asparagus in a creamy sauce.

The pastry was perfectly thin, short and crisp and the filling has a delicious creamy flavour. The use of chicken stock brought out the tastes perfectly the asparagus stood out well. It was spot on.
