Hot Cross Bun Ring



This is the start of some Easter baking. I have made hot cross buns flavoured with mixed spice, orange soaked raisins and diced apple. They are topped with the traditional cross and brushed with a sugar glaze.

I am incredibly happy with this bake. The dough is soft and has a wonderful texture. The flavours are quintessential of Easter. I am very happy with the look of it and the slight sweetness and crust from the sugar glaze. This is perfect.
