Apricot and Orange Blossom Viennese Tartlets



These are my first Mother's Day bake. They are some orange blossom flavoured viennese biscuits in tartlet form topped with a spoonful of apricot jam. They are dusted with icing sugar. 

The biscuit melts in your mouth, with a rich buttery flavour. It is flavoured with enough orange blossom to taste it but not so much that it overpowers your senses. The jam is sweet and fruity and adds a wonderful colour to the bake. I think they look the perfect treat for mother's day.
