Cinnamon Crackle Biscuits






These are some winter spiced biscuits. They feature a crackled effect and are flavoured with cinnamon and rolled in caster sugar before baking.

The biscuits are crisp and crunchy, just like a gingernut. The spice is strong and comforting. The crackle worked really well, and the addition of the caster sugar makes them just that little bit sweeter. I did manage to cook both batches so they were very different colours, but aside from that, they are great!
