Baileys Tiramisu





These are some Italian tiramisu with a boozy twist. They are light whisked sponge layers soaked in a coffee syrup and filled with a cream and mascarpone mixture flavoured with baileys. They are dusted with cocoa powder.

I am very impressed that they managed to hold themselves up well with the layers staying neat and clean. The flavour of the baileys adds a delicious kick to the strong coffee and married wonderfully with the creamy filling. It could perhaps tolerate a little bit more of a generous hand, but they are absolutely delicious nonetheless.
