Strawberry and Walnut Cookies

I have been making some American cookies flavoured with dried strawberries and chopped walnuts.

They are crisp on the edges and soft and chewy in the middle. The addition of light muscovado sugar gives them a slightly caramelised flavour and the strawberry and walnut combination is fantastic.
