Brie and Caramelised Onion Tarts





For dinner tomorrow after my first proper day at uni I have an individual shortcrust pastry tart filled with balsamic caramelised red onion and topped with chunks of brie.

This was the first time making pastry in my new oven and I found the blind baking took longer than usual. I think I need to increase the temperature a little next time. I also need to use a different pan to caramelise my onions as the one I tried was too non stick! It all cam together wonderfully in the end to produce a delicious tart for tea!
