Raspberry and Honeycomb Fresh Cream Roulade
I have made a cream roulade. It is a vanilla sponge filled with raspberry jam, raspberries and fresh whipped cream. It is dusted with icing sugar and decorated with homemade honeycomb pieces.
The sponge is light and did not crack upon rolling. The raspberry flavour is sweet and delicious. The fresh raspberries in the centre are an addition that makes it look great and taste even better! The crunch on top from the honeycomb adds an extra texture and sweetness. I am incredibly pleased with this and think it looks elegant too!
