Cinnamon and Saffron Daffodil Bread
This is a daffodil loaf made for St David's Day flavoured with saffron and filled with cinnamon and dark brown sugar.
The loaf flavour was luxurious and delicious with the taste of saffron coming through nicely. The filling didn't stand out in flavour but nicely complimented it. The look of the bread was lovely, although not as perfect as I wanted as I couldn't get the dough to adhere to itself as it was a little dry. Nonetheless I am very happy.
