Sticky Toffee Buns

These are some chelsea buns of a treacle dough, brown sugar and walnut filling, and a toffee sauce and walnut topping.

They are soft and perfectly baked. The dough is slightly sweet with the dark treacle flavour. The topping is sweet and sticky. They are deliciously unhealthy and a fabulous winter warmer bake.
