Nutty Chocolate Coil

This is my take on a povitica. It is a coiled sweet loaf with a filling of chocolate, brandy and mixed nuts comprising mainly peanuts, with some almonds and walnuts. It is decorated with chopped nuts.

I am very happy with the inside of the loaf. It is a hidden beauty within a very simple looking loaf. The flavour is tasty, and will be better when I try it cold. I did very much enjoy stretching the dough out so it was thin like filo. It was great fun to make!
